NMSHMM Annual Dinner 2009

Make your reservations by March 12 for the annual dinner! It promises to be a super evening with great speakers and great food.

Menu

For only $35, attendees will receive a splendid buffet, including:

  • Stuffed crimini mushrooms with roasted peppers and herbed goat cheese
  • Grilled chicken satay with hoisin BBQ glaze and Asian slaw
  • Chopped Caesar salad with grana padano cheese
  • Mixed greens with apples and champagne vinaigrette
  • Pesto cream penne pasta with grilled vegetables, pine nuts, and shaved grana padano
  • Grilled atlantic salmon with steamed rice, vegetables, and lemon thyme buerre blanc
  • Angus flank steak with garlic mashed potatoes, vegetables, and bordelaise sauce
  • Warm chocolate brownies with chantilly cream

Speaker

Our keynote speaker this year will be Rick Sprott. Rick is currently the president of the Air and Waste Management Association (AWMA) and recently retired as the head of the state of Utah’s Environment Department. Rick has also been involved in the Western Governor’s Association (WGA) and the Western Climate Initiative (WCI). We welcome Rick as a New Mexican, now living in Angel Fire, and look forward to learning more of his experiences as an environmental manager at the higher levels of our profession. Election results will be announced for the new NMSHMM Board. We look forward to seeing you there!
